1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Clenny, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not continue using the App. Apple’s terms for devices, accounts, the App Store, Photos, iCloud, and its standard end-user license agreement may also apply.
2. Scope of the service
For photos, videos, and Live Photos you allow it to access, Clenny provides on-device scanning; for photos, duplicate and similarity discovery and quality comparison; and for media, organization by time/place/people/events/screenshots and media type, conservative storage estimates, local cleanup reminders, cleanup selections, and removal after confirmation. Videos and Live Photos are identified only from the system media type and subtype supplied by Apple Photos; duplicate and similar analysis applies to photos only. Device, system version, library size, iCloud state, and permissions affect features, speed, and results.
3. Your content, authorization, and permissions
You retain ownership of your photos. To provide features you choose to use, you authorize Clenny to read and process content made available by system permission. Clenny does not gain ownership or a right to publish it. You are responsible for having the right to process content on the device. Cleanup reminders require separate system notification permission, which you may revoke at any time.
4. Cleanup suggestions and your decisions
- Duplicate, similar, event-grouping, and best-item results are assistive suggestions and may contain errors or omissions.
- Event grouping is for browsing and does not automatically create cleanup selections. Suggested keep items, cleanup choices, and storage estimates are not automatic deletion commands.
- Manual marks from photos, videos, Live Photos, screenshots, events, and other organization views are reviewed on the same Cleanup page.
- Clenny never deletes automatically. It shows selected content and asks for confirmation; Apple Photos may show another system confirmation.
- Removed items normally enter Recently Deleted. Apple manages recovery periods and permanent deletion; storage estimates do not promise exact recovery.
5. Apple system services and third-party conditions
Apple provides and manages Photos permission, iCloud downloads, background scheduling, local notifications, reverse geocoding, purchases, refunds, and permanent deletion. These services may be delayed, suspended, or unavailable due to network, system policy, device resources, account state, or region. Clenny cannot bypass permission, guarantee background execution time, or recover permanently deleted content.
6. Clenny Pro and purchases
For new purchasers, Clenny Pro is a non-consumable one-time purchase. Product name, price, tax, currency, and regional availability shown by the App Store control. Free retains basic browsing, individual selection, side-by-side choosing, and safe cleanup. Pro adds more similarity results, detailed comparison and auto-alignment, batch choosing, batch actions for similar screenshots, all events, automatic updates, and complete history.
- Apple processes purchases; entitlement starts after successful verification.
- Eligible purchases can be restored with the same Apple Account.
- Apple controls refunds, revocation, Family Sharing, and store-region rules.
- If a transaction is refunded or revoked, Clenny may remove Pro access according to StoreKit verification without deleting photos, local results, or existing cleanup choices.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Clenny unlawfully, bypass purchase verification, interfere with security, distribute malicious modified versions, resell or impersonate the App, or reverse engineer it where prohibited by law. Rights expressly granted by law for interoperability, research, or backup are not improperly restricted.
8. Intellectual property
Clenny’s code, brand, interface, original artwork, and text are protected by applicable law. Your content remains yours or the original owner’s. Apple and its product names and marks belong to Apple Inc.
9. Results, backups, and availability
Clenny is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that every duplicate will be found, that suggestions match every preference, that iCloud media is immediately previewable, or that estimated and recovered storage are identical. Keep reliable backups of important photos, videos, and Live Photos.
10. Limitation of liability and consumer rights
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by unreviewed cleanup decisions, device failure, system-service interruption, iCloud state, third-party conduct, or events beyond reasonable control. These terms do not exclude consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update Clenny and these Terms to fix issues, support system changes, improve security, or adjust features. Material changes will update the effective date. You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time.
